Lloyd brings 30 years of recruiting experience in the oil and gas industry to Kern Search. His strong leadership background includes expertise in all areas of the upstream energy industry at both domestic and international locations.

Known for his results driven insight and ability to research and recruit highly-qualified candidates, Lloyd managed his own successful search practice before joining Kern Search in 2005.

Milestones in Lloyd’s career include management of The Aspen group, a privately held contingent firm and Willis & Barnett, a contingent placement agency with specialization in the banking industry.

He was also instrumental in the formation of The Warwick Search Group, and spent five years involved as VP of market development for Drake Beam Morin, Inc., an international and domestic human capital consulting company.

Lloyd’s years of corporate experience in human resources are marked by a record of performance and increased responsibilities beginning in his early years working with line and staff roles, then moving to key management positions throughout the United States, Middle East and Far East.

A native Texan, Lloyd holds a BBA degree from Texas Tech University. He is an active member of the Houston chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
